Mobile phone
This 3rd year project was based around fluid (or organic)
form, using a mobile phone and docking station as a vehicle.
My project was based on the bone structure of the human
body which led me to look at how a mobile phone could
actually be held. My design also took advantage of new
technologies, utilising the ability for a screen to be flexible
and translucent. The screen is based on touch technology
but accessible from both the top and bottom surfaces
allowing for unobstructed menu navigation and complex
multi-touch control. The screen is able to be set at a custom
translucency level based on the user’s preferences.
