This stool was developed from a graphic pattern derived from honeycomb. It is designed to be made from a single sheet of steel with the pattern stamped out, the stamped pattern is then folded and welded to create the form. The stool is finished with a 2mm coat of plastic after going through ta plastic dipping process. The plastic coating guards the steel from corrosion, protects flooring from damage and adds a soft radius to the edges. The stool is the centerpiece of this process which can yield many different configurations such as coffee tables and other chairs.
